Cat Show & Cats in Hats Contest, Nov. 26 in Glendale, CA

Icatsinhats_et’s time for Cats & Hats, a Cat Fanciers Association (CFA) all breed cat show at the Glendale Civic Auditorium, 1401 N. Verdugo Road, Glendale, CA 91208. The show hours are 9:30AM-4:30PM on November 26, 2016.

Over 200 pedigreed cats and kittens to see, as well as everyday pet cats! Sit and watch cats on the judging table, or walk around and visit with the cats between judgings.

There will be seven judging rings going on concurrently throughout the day. No matter what time you arrive you’re bound to see your favorite breed being judged. Breeds include: Abyssinian, Burmese, Siamese, Cornish Rex, Persian, Sphynx, Maine Coon, Siberian, Himalayan and up to 20+ more.

Santa Monica Cat Club is Back in Ontario Sept. 17-18, 2016

Tsmcc_yarn_cathe Santa Monica Cat Club will be returning to Oaks Middle School for their annual show on September 17-18, 2016.

This Cat Fanciers Association show features 10 rings–7 Allbreed championship, kitten and premiership rings, 3 specialty rings, 10 household pet rings and 10 veteran rings

The show runs from 9:30am to the completion of judging, about 5pm, on both days.   Each cat will be judged six times on Saturday and four times on Sunday.  No matter what time you arrive on either day, you should be able to see your favorite breed or class being judged within an hour or so.  As the rings are concurrent, you’re free to watch whichever ring you’d like for however long you wish.

Location: Oaks Middle School, 1221 South Oaks Avenue, Ontario, CA

Admission: $5 donation per person over 12 suggested

June 11: Cat Show in Ontario, California

Come help us celebrate the beginning of a new cat show season!  This Cat Fanciers Association 6 ring Allbreed and Household Pet show in on Saturday, June 11 at the Oaks Middle School in Ontario, California, about 35 miles east of Los Angeles

No matter what time you arrive on either day, you should be able to see your favorite breed or class being judged within an hour or so.  As the rings are concurrent, you’re free to watch whichever ring you’d like for however long you wish.  In between judgings you can visit with the cats and their people in the “benching” area.  There will be vendors selling cat products, toys and supplies.

Location: Multipurpose Room in the center of campus at Oaks Middle School, 1221 South Oaks Avenue, Ontario, CA

General Admission: is $5, payable at the door; children 5 & under are free; parking is free in the school’s lot.

Santa Monica is Coming Back to Costa Mesa!

The Santa Monica Cat Show is heading south again!  Due to the closure of the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium for renovations, the 2015 Santa Monica Cat Show will be held at the Orange County Fairgrounds in the Huntington Santa Monica Cat Club LogoBeach Building at 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, CA.

The show is on October 31-November 1; the hours are 10-6 on Saturday and 10-5 on Sunday.   Visit the Santa Monica Cat Club’s site for more information about tickets, coupons, vendors and showing your cat.
