Summer Cat Shows in Los Angeles

Colorpoint Shorthairs

Two Cat Fanciers’ Association allbreed cat shows this summer!  The first is in South Gate, in southern LA county on July 22.  The second is in Glendale, in northeast LA on August 26.  Check back at in early August for more info about that show.

Balinese

The Slinky Cats Cat Club’s show in South Gate will highlight the “slinky” breeds–Balinese, Balinese-Javanese, Colorpoint Shorthair, Oriental Longhair, Oriental Shorthair & Siamese.

This show will have up to 200+ pedigreed cats and kittens to see, as well as everyday household pet cats.  You can sit and watch cats on the judging table, or walk around and visit with the cats between judgings.

Siamese

There will be six judging rings going on concurrently throughout the day.  No matter what time you arrive you’re bound to see your favorite breed being judged.  Breeds include: Abyssinian, Cornish Rex, Persian, Sphynx, Maine Coon, Siberian, Himalayan and up to 20+ more.

Learn about adopting a cat from a rescue and talk to breeders about pedigreed cats.  There will be booths with cat toys, discount cat supplies and unique cat-related apparel and gift items for sale.

The Cat Fanciers’ Association Southwest Region is celebrating the past season and kicking off a new one with a “Feline Fiesta”.  The show and adoption event is on Saturday, June 17 at the El Zaribah Hall in Phoenix from 9am-3pm.

This show will have over 150 pedigreed cats and kittens to see, as well as everyday household pet cats.   Come meet up to 42 breeds including Cornish Rex, Persian, Siamese, Ragdoll and Sphynx.

No matter what time you arrive, you should be able to see your favorite breed or class being judged within an hour or so.  As the rings are concurrent, you’re free to watch whichever ring you’d like for however long you wish.  In between judgings you can visit with the cats and their people in the “benching” area.  There will be vendors selling cat products, toys and supplies.

Santa Monica Cat Club Comes to Pomona April 29-30

Santa Monica Cat Club LogoThe Santa Monica Cat Club is proud to announce its 50th annual cat show at the Fairplex in Pomona California on April 29th and 30th!

This show will feature eight judges from across the country with over 200 cats in competition.  Shop the over 30 vendors selling feline related products including specialty cat foods, scratching trees, pet beds, cat toys, carriers, jewelry, paintings, litter and more. The show will also have a feline rescue group looking to find homes for cats in need.

Santa Monica Cat Club is Back in Ontario Sept. 17-18, 2016

Tsmcc_yarn_cathe Santa Monica Cat Club will be returning to Oaks Middle School for their annual show on September 17-18, 2016.

This Cat Fanciers Association show features 10 rings–7 Allbreed championship, kitten and premiership rings, 3 specialty rings, 10 household pet rings and 10 veteran rings

The show runs from 9:30am to the completion of judging, about 5pm, on both days.   Each cat will be judged six times on Saturday and four times on Sunday.  No matter what time you arrive on either day, you should be able to see your favorite breed or class being judged within an hour or so.  As the rings are concurrent, you’re free to watch whichever ring you’d like for however long you wish.

Location: Oaks Middle School, 1221 South Oaks Avenue, Ontario, CA

Admission: $5 donation per person over 12 suggested

Come help us celebrate the beginning of a new cat show season!  This Cat Fanciers Association 6 ring Allbreed and Household Pet show in on Saturday, June 11 at the Oaks Middle School in Ontario, California, about 35 miles east of Los Angeles

No matter what time you arrive on either day, you should be able to see your favorite breed or class being judged within an hour or so.  As the rings are concurrent, you’re free to watch whichever ring you’d like for however long you wish.  In between judgings you can visit with the cats and their people in the “benching” area.  There will be vendors selling cat products, toys and supplies.
